About Channel One
Channel One (and its previous name Israeli television), known publicly at Channel 1, is a state public television channel in Israel, on behalf of the IBA. The channel aired nearly twenty years (along with educational television) broadcast channel only Israeli, and to differ Education Channel was nicknamed “General Television” and short “general.” Then began the multi-channel television channel name passed rebranding and is called “Channel One”.
